I can now let out a hearty laugh at all the people who "heard voices" in the sound clips. which were just plain fucking static.

There were definitely voices. That's why the SSTV decoding wasn't perfect. It was the image plus some stuff. I remember one where you could clearly make out "something something Gordon". The "something something" is audible, I just forget what it was.

There were voices on some other files that were not SSTV. There was extra noise in some of the SSTV files but not enough to actually make anything audible. People were debating if the noise did contain data in some form but i havnt checked in a while to see if anyone found anything yet.

I clearly heard something along the lines of PHFHHHHFHHHFHHHHH. it was very distinct i'm sure of it.
