Please don't kill fun
#1

Okay DF, you took away Joey and my speaking priveleges and then took away our typing priveleges and you didn't even give us the pleasure of knowing why. The reason is unimportant when I know we were well within the confines of server rules. If you were there long enough to hear, any conflict going on wasn't even born of us. When we hop on to the server, Joey and I just want to talk and hang loose, but when you mute us it takes the fun out of it. It would be like playing Monopoly except you can't talk to the other players. When guys like half-duplex and enforcer get cheesed off its because they are taking the game way more serious than we do. When other players can easily mute people like us, I think it is frivolous to revoke our fun lock, stock and barrel. After we got silenced the talking vacuum got filled with some dude giving orders and talking non stop about how he is the only one on the team helping. That is the kind of stuff that you end up with when the light hearted players get stomped on. So I guess our position is we love to play tm2 and we love to play and interact with the other people, so when you take that away the whole game loses something. I don't think it was fair to do that to us especially when we are in the server all the time spreading the cheer. We love the server and we love most of the other players and we just want to play for the love of the game.

I agree. In fact, I enjoy it.

The only thing that bothered me was how disrespectful you guys were being towards other players.

Also, I didn't take away speaking privileges. I only gagged you for the session.

ok i never remember playing with you guys, and i honestly do know anyone else like this, its a competitive game, aka TRY TO WIN, i can't stand when we have a bunch of stoners who come in and sit in the corner getting high getting in the way of those who really want to play
second, there have been complaints about you before, the other day when i was on some one just out of the blue said said "Captain America is an asshole", so obviously DF is the only one bothered by this.

When we got gagged I was on the top of my team and Joe had just got in. I don't just goof off in game; I play to win as well as play for fun. It is a fine line and I dare to walk it. As for being disrespectful I think that sort of implies that half-duplex earned my respect for calling my pal names. Joey said in jest that half- had a nice voice on the mic and he took it way serious and let his homophobia come out. It isn't like Joey got hurt feelings about the whole business even though half- was trying to accomplish exactly that. The part that bugged us was that we got gagged because some other guy couldn't discriminate between a joke and a come on. I never thought the whole gagging thing was permanent, but it was just really whack considering the situation it came out of.

Ya, I heard it. The gagging thing isn't permanent, but when I noticed you reconnecting to get around it I just put it back before you could join a team.
