Played Amnesia. Feel like crawling into a hole and crying.

I dont know why, but its just zombies (mummies?) chasing you. But the way the developers made such a horrifying sound track and the way things move is just too much. And plus the whole idea of only having a fucking oil lamp and feeling so helpless.

I thought maybe i was a pussy, but i let my friends play and they shat thier pants too.

Is the game too scary?

I'm pretty sure Amnesia was made by the same people who made the Penumbra series. They're pretty experienced at making their games super scary.
Maybe you should play it only in the daylight.

I disagree. You should play it at night in the darkness with the volume up. Then you will literally shit your pants.

Play Nightmare House 2 it's free but you need half-life 2 to run it.

Scared me more then Amnesia Cry

I love people who are more frightened by popup scares than actual good atmosphere, pacing etc.(Not to say Nightmare House 2 isn't worth playing but it's not even on the same level as Amnesia.)

By the way you should try the HL1 Mod Afraid of Monsters Directors Cut.
Pretty awesome stuff.

If you're going to play afraid of monsters you should do it with friends in sven coop.

I played Amnesia at a friends place with lights out and volume high. To be honest the game was not that scary(well for me atleast). But it was still a good game nonetheless.

P.S: The monsters actually looked funny rather than scary. There's one that looks like the vagineer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9uzMnvvq...re=related

You are not supposed to look at them... That is the point of the sanity meter.
