This is the closest thing to an off topic forum, so I figured to post here. Wondering if anyone else has knowledge of the Source engine code or mapping in hammer editor. Share some tips, post questions, etc.
For starters; I finally figured out how to make objects explode! Yes everything from toilets to watermelon to ordinary bricks are now combustable. The map I'm working on is 90% finished. The other 10% being a problem I'm having with vehicles. Just started experimenting with brush-based vehicles. Standard box with phys_restraints, some thrusters, and the proper logic_entities. The default airboat and buggy physics have been acting up though
On a lighter note, I have working rain, 3d skybox, and watery death (those little worm things). So is anyone else in the SourceOP community a mapper? Would love to hear input on work that you've done.
