Slight changes to the trading section rules:
- Don't create multiple threads:
- No more then 2 active threads per section with a maximum of 5 threads.
(this was already our internal enforcement limit, just making it public)
- Close your old threads before creating a new one by changing the title to "closed".
- Do not post the same items for sale in both buy/sell and the trade section, if cash is an option, it belongs in buy/sell ONLY.
(already was a rule listed in the trade section sticky, now adding to general trading rules)
- All unusual trading/buying/selling belongs ONLY in the unusual section.
(new rule for the new section)
- No user is permitted to use any implied admin or "trusted seller" or the like reference in thread titles.
(already was an internal rule, just making it public)
Updated the buy/sell and trading rule threads pointing to the forum rules/FAQ and this thread,

Does this apply to threads such as these:
http://forums.sourceop.com/threads/12310...fined-0-39
http://forums.sourceop.com/threads/12999...d-Headcase
I've seen the latter around for a while, and while it annoyed me it didn't occur that it may be a rule violation until i found my way to this thread.
Thanks.

I considered that but this put me off:
Quote:Note: This is ONLY to be used to report spam, advertising messages, and problematic (harassment, fighting, or rude) posts.
That and the fact they were both using the exact same phrase made me doubt myself, which is why I thought I'd check here. Anyway, thanks. :p

That's the forums default note, sky showed me where/how to edit it and I did, he helped fix the message to better fit the page as well. Its been adjusted, hope it covers everything needed.
Quote:Note : This is ONLY to be used to report posts/users in violation of site rules including but not limited to: spam, advertising, scammers, harassment, shitposting and so on. If you have a specific issue yourself, we offer a private support section, and ONLY if its extremely urgent and important, should you use the "contact admin" feature. Otherwise this is the preferred method to report most issues. Frivolous reports will get you banned.
Thanks.

"Gifting games through steam is ok, CD key, activation code, steam wallet code selling is not." - What if the buyer is aware of the risk of CD key/ activation code trading and still wants to go through with the trade?

So, no? I did read it, but if someone's aware of the risk involved, why shouldn't they be given the choice?

That rule is not up for debate here. Answer is no.
Thanks.
