The "Reputation Pre-Approval" section is made for new reputation threads. It's considered as a trial period so to speak before it will be moved to the actual trade reputation section.
The reason why we have this pre-approval section is to prevent quite a few trouble makers that exists in this world, as such new reputation threads needs more attention. Plus, this section is here as well to start building your trust with the other members (not considering you are a scammer) and in hope you'll also follow the forum rules properly seeing many people just intend to ignore them.
When you create a new REP thread
- Clickable SteamID64 info is required. (This is to prevent scammers from using your rep)
- Use a site such as SteamREP to locate your Steam ID64. Additional links are at your discretion.
- Rep left here should be limited to transactions that took place on SOP and not from other site such as TF2Outpost.
Why is my rep thread locked / closed?
If your thread is locked, it could be for 2 reasons:
1), Outside reputation. <- Click and read the last point.
2), You did not add your SteamID64 URL in your thread. Please reply to this thread with your rep thread link and ID64 URL to have your thread unlocked. Immediately after being unlocked, add your ID64 URL to your thread. Once your post is updated and your thread screened by a mod, it will automatically be moved.
If your thread has the required link and is locked, please review the rep section rules HERE to make sure your thread is compliant and then contact a mod or admin.
