I would just get the equivalent of what you already have.
As for being an 'older model', there hasn't been any significant change in headphone technology for at least 10 years. All that's really changed is the style.

Take a look at some Shure models. (or Ultimate Ears on ebay, but I think they're not very robust)
I'm using s-Jays and the insulation ripped off after 1 year and Jays replaced them so they have good warranty.

i just bought some sennheiser earbuds off of newwegg for about 20 bucks, they were on sale down from 45
they're absolutely fantastic, very good noise isolation, and it sounds fantastic.
