Recently my old account (with this name) had gotten hacked through a phishing site and I managed to message everybody and fix the problem to the best of my ability INCLUDING changing my password and even trying to contact DF. After trying to login today however, I was not able to get in. I used the "Lost Password?" form but it says that this account did not exist. I re-made my account now, but I was wondering as to why that had happened?

Giving away your account details is something I wouldn't call getting "hacked"

Didn't you know? Anytime my account is stolen it was "hacked" by some "hacker".
I was a commando you know.

there's no such thing as hacking anymore
The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth becomes the greatest enemy of the State.
