You have to connect through the console if it's full noob....

hit the ~ to open console and type "connect 74.54.24.194:27015" and then it will let you in.

Edit: Wonder if there is a script where i can assign a button to connect to the source servers instead of typing out the ip address each time.

i just double click it in my favorites and if it doesnt join (which is usually) then i copy the IP at the top of the dialog box, pop open console and control v that bitch right in there.

faster then typing it out, but i see what you mean, it would be a lot nicer with a hotkey stroke
