Orci here, I play on the arena server a lot.

Now I know some people may call me a hypocrite since I used to play "victory" music at the end of matches and would consider this mic spamming, but I have since been stopped after a fair warning from Drunken, and what I was doing isn't nearly as bad as what I want to post about now.

What is really bugging me is the absolute ridiculous amount of mic spamming there is going on in the Arena server the last week or 2. It's not just one player either, it's MANY players doing it. From playing music ALL THE TIME to playing the most annoying sounds I've ever heard over and over again, it's at the point where I have to mute up to 6 players every time I log onto the servers.

I'd like to know if it might be possible for some admins to pop in a little more often so they can weed some of these people out, which would make playing a lot better so I can actually hear my teammates talk, or so that I don't have to try and mute people during a match and end up getting killed while doing so.

I'll stop by more often and perhaps make an automatic ban for mic spam.

I agree. It's become really annoying recently, especially, as orci said, there are like 3-4 mic spammers at once. Also, what's the policy on swearing, racial slurs, and so on?

It would be great if an admin could visit the arena server more often, as I always think that specifically filling out the contact admin form for such relatively trivial matters is unnecessary.

I'm on arena at least once per day. Always watching for mic spammers if anything else, arena used to have a ungodly amount of people doing that in the past, it's toned down a bit during the last month or so though but if it's back up again with more new faces abusing the voice chat, i'll definitely have to pop my head into the arena server a little more often.

Also, like i told sir_light and a couple others, if you guys want u can add me to your steam friends and let me know if someone is spamming if i'm not in game (as I always leave steam on) and I'll be sure to check it out.

I frequent the arena server everyday and am at my computer almost all day as well (at work at least)... you could always just give me mute/gag abilities and I can take care of it.

Same as LMA said, I'm here most of the day (work at home) and try to check in regularly but sometimes I have the servers on mute and might miss a mic spammer so feel free to add me to friends and send a message. http://steamcommunity.com/id/insomniaprincess
