Seriously, I'm convinced your problem is entirely because you're playing on 2fort. Rather than be an obdurate mule and insist that 2fort players get good, play on maps where players are good.

I think the problem is that he doesn't realize that there are other 24-hour 2fort servers with all of these rules he wants.

I don't want to get into the habit of telling people to go elsewhere, but we are not going to overhaul the entire structure of the server to please one person who doesn't show civility towards other players who only want to have fun.

I don't know who this EE guy is, but how he can turn bad TF2 players into Americans becoming sissies over political correctness is absurd. Obviously he does not understand patterns, for griefing his team and yelling at them has failed to prove positive results; instead, there is just an entire thread dedicated to shutting him up.

The funniest part of all of this? "Good" TF2 players who also play 2fort will largely not play on servers with that many ridiculous rules. The free form of Sourceop and the strong regular player base are the only reasons I play here. Class limits are one of the few things that will make me instantly quit and blacklist a server (only so I won't accidentally rejoin it).

I like how he just assumes players are incompetent because they don't do everything he wants them to, when it's quite obvious from this thread that people just don't agree with what he is saying in the first place. 2fort players spend countless days on the same map, so expecting them to always play seriously and to the best of their abilities shows how short sighted he is. I'm going to do stupid shit when he's on the server because it's more fun hear him cry about it than the normal repetitive game play. Can you show me where I said I was the bestest 2fort player? I think you will find that I have never stated that. Instead, I know how the map is played and I know what works and what doesnt work. Its a fucking simple map, its not that complicated and I dont see why people have such a hard time with it. Its not rocket science, hell, its not kindergarten arts and crafts, why do you keep eating the paste?

My most played class is far from sniper, I play everything but spy. I play sniper and engineer quite a bit because those are two classes where you have players playing and then all of a sudden no one filling those roles so I fill them. See, I am a team player cupcake, I will fill the roles needed for the team.

I have been an administrator on enough servers to tell you that these rules you are trying to force are cancer and the people who you bitch about are the people keeping the servers up and running in the first place.

This is pretty accurate. You need to respect the new players. How about instead of votekicking the guy who builds a dispenser in front of his sentry, kindly instruct him that a dispenser in front of his sentry limits its visibility.

We have suggested this to EE a thousand times, Drunken_f00l. We've told him in many ways.... I think most of us are just fed up with him ignoring such suggestions and going down the same path again and again, ruining the game for everyone else. His ban record speaks for itself.

EE, the bottom line is that you need to respect that there are players of all different skill levels and you cannot punish a player for being "bad" at the game. If you want top quality players, join a league and play some competitive matches.

The Autoban Avoidance penalty has deterred some of the stacking. While I consider it completely annoying and the first thing that has ever truly irked me about SourceOp, I can understand the need, maybe. But part of the reason I play TF2 is to play with my friends. I enjoy the teamwork of joining up and making effective pushes. dBs and DesA do this effectively on all of the SourceOp servers. We also enjoy giving each other hell from time to time. I think there is a perception of stacking when its just a matter of playing with friends.

EE, you want to harp on dBs and DesA, it's unfortunate that you have made yourself the biggest horses' ass that no one would have you in a respectable group like those. Sometimes in 2fort, which I agree is serious business , you have to do what you can, and that's all you can do. I've never seen you be effective at all. Well, unless you consider greifing effective.

I posted in the other thread, and I'll summarize here, I think EE needs some time off to explore other servers and then after a time he can come back and realize how great SourceOP is and there is nothing else like it out there.

Dude, WTF are you talking about? Desa, dbs and Xeno are the only ones who offer any sort of team work for the most part. My comments are not directed to them, never have been. In fact, they are what is good about the server. My comments about retards are those other ones, who have played on the server numerous times and yet continue to make the same stupid mistakes, over and over and over. How many times must your sentry on the battlements be destroyed before you understand that it is a bad fucking idea? Why do you care about them? Must be because they make you look good

You have never seen me be effective? I rarely see your ass on the server. I play for the team and that is it. Do you think I enjoy playing engineer? No.. not really. I do thought because the team needs it not because it is enjoyable.
