the zombies absolutely need re balancing.
tank is far too powerful. and has far too much health
witch has too much health and should be player controllable like the tank
the smoker should get a direct damage ability, he's kind of terrible
the hunter is fine... could probably use a little bit more health to make him more like a faster more wimpy tank without any tank utility
boomers are my favorite to play. the spraw needs to be weakened a bit for versus mode, and should have a faster cooldown. maybe a sliver more life.
yayyyyy my opinions voiced on the internet. maybe valve will read!

Oddly enough the smoker is my favorite of the 3 'normal' boss zombies. On the last part of No Mercy, I was able to disable 3 of the 4 survivors by pulling one off the roof and the other 2 jumped to heal him. Sadly the drop sapped ones health and the other fell off the side of the building.
The boomer is the most effective, least in my eyes, as it gives the hunters and smokers a chance to do something without getting one shot by a team of 4 auto shotgun users.

They fucked up the hunter controls.
He actually had a skill ceiling in the demo. Now you can't do normal harmless leaps to get out of the way anymore.

		wow... I absolutely love versus.
Tank isn't OP... \0= If you have a decent team you can knock him down in 30 seconds or less. I usually find myself unable to get more than one or two hits in on the survivors jumping around me blasting away before I die. (maybe that's the difference between a clan-based team and a pub team {no this is not a shot at anyone's skill level})
Hunter is still great... I spawn as a hunter 85 times out of 100 so I've gotten pretty good with him pretty fast. Wall jumping leads to hilarity and actually knowing when to pounce is the key. Stalking the limping guy almost always equals victory. And if you don't crouch until the last second the hunter makes no noise whatsoever so its always a surprise. I don't really understand what you mean by saying he cant do normal jumps to get out of the way, if I miss a leap I just keep holding crouch and froggy jump my ass outta there. Also, 4 hunters = instawin.
Boomer is fun just for the sheer hilarity. Camp the top of a building and skydive your fat ass on top of the survivors, trust me, someone will shoot you. Boomer is a good hit and run kinda guy... team up with a smoker or even a hunter... wait until the hunter pounces or smoker snags someone, run your fatty self up and barf all over them. I think I managed a x160 assist on a server that (unfortunately) was set on easy using this tactic. Also hiding just around a doorway, while not exactly inconspicuous, also lets you take a step out, barf and then blow up in a blaze of glory. Usually you manage to get one or two like this
Smoker is smoker... I find him to be a hit or miss kinda guy. I rarely if ever spawn as one even playing multiple campaigns. I try to team up with a hunter and snag someone as he pounces on another so he can maybe get one or two more hits in during the confusion.
And no, I don't think a one-shot maniac should be computer controlled. d0=

Well of course you don't understand, because you never got to play it in the demo.

The only difference was you didn't have to crouch.

I played "it" in the demo quite frequently actually. \0=

I didn't, however, notice any control differences. I always just assumed you had to crouch every time you wanted to leap so that's what I did. That's the reason I didn't understand why you couldn't get outta the way. Just a minor difference in playstyle is all.

Okay forget my last post, versus is awesome.
My first round was simply full of bullshit with stacked teams and all and all.

yeah, versus sucks unless you play pub, as clans suck all of the fun out of the game, you are either with them (which makes the game feel like a job) or against them (which makes it a bullshit rage-fest)
