still don't understand where you're getting these ideas from about map changes.

The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth becomes the greatest enemy of the State.

To be clear - Womb is a good admin. He just doesn't have the access that everyone imagines he has. Valve1 regulars are butthurt about him for the same reason PH regulars are butthurt about Butane - they both do their job, and do it well.
He's wrong about engineers being the problem.
We've had plenty of threads about what to do, now it's up to the folks that do have the access to make the call. I'll reiterate my desire to turn Valve1 into 'valve maps that don't suck', valve 2 into 'all the other maps plus flavor of the week', goldrush to PL, 2fort (the empty one) to CTF and pro to whatever flavor of the week mod is (dodgeball).

Secondly, that's because you never play on the Valve Maps server as much as the rest of us, I don't think I have seen u there in over 2 months. I usually put in a good 3-4 hours a day (when it doesn't die of course), 2 hours of that is spent trying to get people to join. A quick solution...get rid of the maps that kill the server and allow more than 2 options to vote for the next map, put 5 choices up that we can all choose from...problem solved.

Lastly, if the admins are "too busy" to do anything, then why not let someone who is never busy to maintain it, at least the power to change maps. I have a disability, I'm in a wheelchair and am unable to work which is why I spent so much time on TF2, I am always available and would gladly help...just saying if admins are too busy, then resign your admin privileges..the whole purpose of being an admin is just that to administer, not complain about how many people write to you on chat about changing the map...if this is the case, THEN CHANGE THE MAP ALREADY...I'm sure there are plenty of others who aren't as busy who would gladly do it...

Good at snide remarks/goading. *After a map change request, from multiple regulars that he ignores/berates* (Closely paraphrasing) "Ok everyone, jump an Steam chat and beg Fusion to come change the map!". (Oh, we will/do, because he does his job!)

But good at being an admin, and doing his job well, no! How is doing nothing and rarely playing being a good admin? I just don't get it.

The rules thread has a part specifically about asking for map changes. It's not a power all admins have, and in large part due to what was already mentioned in the thread about always switching to the same maps and the server dying because of it.
In any event, as I said, it's up to the big-wigs to decide what to do. Womb is a baller, not a big-wig (Fusion isn't a big-wig either).

Here's a question - would everyone want a rotation that takes 12 hours to complete (I think we're at a 15 hour rotation right now) or one that takes maybe 6 hours? So more maps on valve1, just with the junk removed, or very cut down, and have valve2 have other good maps in a small rotation?

I've removed 2fort, doublecross, sawmill in all its forms, ctf_well, hightower, and doomsday. I didn't change the order of any of them though. If you guys really want to add Kong King and Nightfall, I can do that too.
