[I hit random]

Slight derail. Having 3 classes like spy or sniper isn't necessarily a bad thing. Hell, I've seen competitive teams run 2 snipers on dustbowl effectively. If the snipers and spies are good and getting kills, it's not a problem. People don't generally notice when the spies and snipers are doing work. They just push up and see thinned numbers and roll. That being said, a having a bad sniper or spy on your team probably hurts worse than having a bad soldier or demo.

lame? We basically said the same thing. Just in different context. I don't want to be on the team with the 1 medic and 8 pyros(the tards, remember?). I would rather be on the team where my friends are, having fun. I don't play for points, if I did I wouldn't be playing as pyro/spy losing points when I could be point whoring with medic.

Umm, you didn't say anything about playing with your friends and I didn't say anything about you whoring points. You just said you want to be on the team that communicates and wins (the team with good players) not the team with tards on it (the bad players). If that's not what you meant, then my bad, but joining a team just because it's the winning one IS lame.

this is not true, although it can seem that way, but if the teams are equal you still have a 50% chance of landing in red.

I have to agree with the premise that spies and snipers aren't often noticed when they're doing good work (unless you're noticed by other long-playing spies and snipers). Suddenly, there aren't as many enemies on the front lines and nobody realizes it's because you took out 4 tele entrances or you killed that heavy who was kritzing, or you nabbed the engie and his base in one go. Alright, I'm done whining. . .

They are like live sound guys--no matter how good you are, nobody knows you are there until there's feedback or something goes wrong.
