level of play on goldrush server may be good compared to other goldrush servers, but it's terrible compared to other sourceop servers (eg valve maps 1). I've played on both and have found much more skilled players on valve 1. Mastering all maps is a lot more challenging that spamming stickies on a chokepoint infested map like goldrush. Basically what snarf said.

The desire to master a single map is different from the desire to master any kind of map. 32 player goldrush is the spamming format. That's a different game. You play it to play that game. They're different formats that call for the development of different skills.
