I LIKE GOLDRUSH BECAUSE I ENJOY PLAYING ON REALLY STACKED TEAMS AND MAKING ALL THE NOOBS RAGE. Fuck you. How the hell is reducing stacking bad? It makes new players want to avoid the server because they're getting consistently raped every time they play. I don't know how any idiot can argue in favor of making matches more balanced, since this makes for more exciting games, better team play, and greater improvements in player skill.

tl;dr (although how couldn't you, everyone loves caps): it wouldn't be fucking with the server, it would be fucking with team stacking, a legitimate issue.

I'll just mention that new players avoiding the server is a good thing if your goal is to play with good players. I defy anyone to find a 32 player goldrush server with higher quality play than this one. It is literally the best 32 player goldrush server in the world. Why implement a rule that will just drive all its best players to EVGA? Surely quality of regular play is the highest honor for a server, rather than the distribution of reb/blu wins. 32 player goldrush is a distinct format, different from all other tf2 formats in significant ways. Mastering 32 goldrush is nothing like mastering 12 player 2fort.

If you're unhappy losing on our server, practice 32 goldrush instead of bitching on the forums. If you wanna go somewhere newb-friendly, lotus or drunken brawl usually have a slot open.
