Forcing antialiasing doesn't make a game good.

I just tried out Cabal Online, wasn't worth it at all.

I started out by being completely fucking lost, because they put a pack of lvl 40+ creatures between me and the pack of lvl 1-9 creatures I was supposed to be fighting, which means running for my fucking life every time I felt like grinding. FUN

Then I got to about lvl 20 and got bored, but somebody told me that the WAR servers were fun, so I went to try it out.

I log onto a war server and it is everybody versus everybody, which means 4 lvl 90's camping every motherfucking spawn point. I think I missed what was supposed to be fun about it.

Then I went into my Nvidia control panel and forced anti-aliasing, which made it look fucking fantastic, but it was still a shit-fest.

Air rivals is still fun, though. ( Space Cowboys resurrected, MMORPG meets Starfox)

i have tried a vast majority of free-to-play and micro-payment business modeled MMOs (and have played EVERY pay-to-play), and can tell you that pay-to-play will get you 100x the quality in gameplay then any free or micro one would.

although flyff was fairly well made.

agreed, and Flyff put Aeonsoft on the map, I wonder if they will ever make another game. (Or have they and I am just out of the loop? lol)

DOFUS was another well-created free MMO even though they have the pay-to-play feature now to access all the content. I used to be massively addicted to Conquer (I know... don't laugh) but I haven't played with 2.0.

I have also tried most everything... sometimes for my work and sometimes for personal interest but few actually keep my attention for very long.

I thought flyff was downright horrible.

I have played WoW, Iro, rose, and a lot of other pay-to-play, and Air Rivals (space cowboys online) is by far my favorite MMO of all time. It just takes a little time and effort to butt your way into their community >.<

there are really only 3 MMOs worth paying subscriptions to play,
WoW, WAR, and L2.

I prefer L2 by far. It has the best economic SYSTEM (the current economy has been destroyed by years of unchecked botting and gold selling,) it has the most unique and best stylized class system, and the best Open World pvp. The downside? Dieing servers, massive bot populations, end-game grind, horrible end-game PvE

WoW is clearly the most polished, and the one that has had the most man hours and dollars spent. With WotLK it will seriously rock. The environments are immersive, the raiding is amazing, the pvp system is well done, and the game over-all has a very finished feel to it. oh and 9/10 people you know play it! Downside? Every one of those 10 people is on a different server, and the graphics are a pile of poo

WAR is really just a wow, daoc hybrid, but done REALLY well. the most successful MMO launch i've ever participated in, the community and administration is amazing. They brought a lot to the modern MMO table, notably the well polished Tome of Knowledge, Public Quests, and advanced RvR system. The economy blows, and the classes need re-balanced, but hey, it's brand new.

honorable mention? Eve, mostly for its extreme learning curve and depth of features.

Ragnarok was my favorite pay-to-play. When I played it it had over 14-million people and 900000 on the server I was playing.

Warcraft started out good, but they ruined it, nerfed everything, making it easy as shit and unbalancing everything (which I heard they are still doing. last update they made it so you could only use one mana potion per boss battle). I just plain didn't like Liniage two's community, everybody was either Brazilian or an elitist prick.

No, a Brazilian is some stupid fucking kid who goes on and on like a lost bird and is like "BR?!?! BR!?!? BR?!?!?! BR?!?!?" to every person they see and if you say something like "No,I am not Brazilian, this is the north American version of the game" they are like "I REPORT U, HUAHUEHUAHUEHUAHUEHUAHUEHUAHUEHUAHUEHUAHUEHUAHUEHUAHUEHUAHUEHUAHUEHUAHUEHUA
HUEHUAHUEHUAHUEHUAHUEHUAHUEHUAHUEHUAHUEHUAHUEHUAHUEHUAHUEHUAHUEHUAHUEHUAHUE
HUAHUEHUAHUEHUAHUEHUAHUEHUAHUEHUAHUEHUAHUEHUAHUE"

an elitist goes around like "FUCK, YOU ARE STUPID, YOU ARE LEVEL 12 AND ONLY HAVE T H A T SWORD!?!? HOW FUCKING MUCH OF A NOOB DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO HAVE T H A T KIND OF SWORD", or "I CAN't BELEIVE HOW LOW OF DAMAGE YOU ARE DOING, YOU MUST REALLY FUCKING SUCK AT THIS GAME".

TLDR: Elitists are condescending assholes, where brazillians are half-retarded children who like to steal kills.
