I don't think the proportions should have changed much since 09

It was after the crash in 08, so the economy was already in tatters.


And anyway, the banks issue really depends on how you want to look at it. If you want to look from the occupy wall street point of view, the bankers are taking vacations and getting bailed out while everyone else suffers.

If you want to look from the tea party point of view, then the gov made banks lower interest rates on lending money so more people could get housing, and bailing out the banks is a repayment for the bad judgement the gov made on lowering interest rates.
