Well, to each his own.
I think to slap the "Weak & Lazy" script label on this movie is stupid. A bit exaggerated. Yes, there are some flaws in this movie *GASP* but good grief, with lack of quality movies coming out nowadays, I'll take it.
It's a great film and people just look too much into unnecessary stuff and let it ruin it for them.
The "Don't see Prometheus" shit is absolutely ridiculous.

It's definitely not a 'great film' and if you think it is, I would shudder to think what you consider a bad movie to be.

Whoa, pro movie critic guys, watch out.
And yeah, I think it's a great film. Did I ever say it was the best film in the entire universe? Nope. Did I say it's 100% perfect? Nope.
I seriously feel so bad for anyone that watches a movie with you. "OMG guys, the movie didn't FADE IN, it just cut to the scene abruptly....WE'RE LEAVING RIGHT NOW."

Editing shouldn't be jarring. This is a scientific fact.

I understand your sarcasm I just don't understand the "You, the Living is " part, either I'm an idiot or the reference is flying right over my head.

The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth becomes the greatest enemy of the State.

Ah ok I thought he was addressing me, then starting the sentence with "The living" makes more sense now.
