I didn't buy it from American Megatrends. They just made the bios. There are three big BIOS manufacturers, and they are one of them. The board is ASUS in case you were wondering.
Also, my new graphics card came today and it's all better.

When i first booted my completely formatted bare bones PC, i got the ASUS boot screen, and the American megatrends screen. I didn't know you could turn that off. How to do that?

Enter your BIOS and change the option. The fullscreen graphic with no text stuff is the default which is what I changed.

A cat technician would just pound random keys on the keyboard with a smile on its face and then repeat and pound the same keys.
