So I was looking at HLstats and saw the clan rankings, and I was wondering how do I register my own clan up there?

I think you just have to get more than 3 of your clan-mates on the server and have identical tags

It only takes 1 person but you have to set the filter down to one to see it on the stats page. It recognizes almost any combination of symbols in front of a name as tags. If the tags come after the name, it may not recognize it as a tag/clan.

But yes, as Omega said, if you just play on the servers with your tags on, it will read it into the stats. If you are inactive on the servers for 28 days or more, I think it may drop you from the clan stats page.

yup - hlstatsx is set to pickup certain tag formats... either go by the way one of them is already formatted, or make your own and pray it picks it up (if it doesnt you can whine at drunken until he adds the formula to hlstatsx)

That is possible. Since it's so long, it may be reading it as part of your name instead of a tag. I see you guys in the player ranking and it doesn't recognize you as a clan.

You could probably ask DrunkenF00l nicely if he would add your clan manually so it recognizes you guys.

I can add it manually. You might need to change your name (and then change it back) to get it updated/registered.

Yup, too many characters between the brackets for hlstatsx to recognize it by default. Which I think is maxed out at 6.

so i've waited four days. i think you made a typo and added H20 instead of H2O.

You're absolutely right. You'll still probably have to do the whole change-your-name-while-in-game-and-then-change-it-back thing.
