Unfortunately the stats as they are now do not reflect this kind of skill.

I think they do in a very general sense, actually. The more you do those things, the more points you get.... generally.


Really I've changed my mind about the points for healing. I think it is a really good idea and probably should have been implemented from the start. The current system gives you ample opportunity to rise in stats as a medic faster than other classes once you get a feel for it (140 hours medic for me, too). So adding healing points is overkill IMO.

Just need some kind of comprimise. Right now medics rely majorly on kill assists. So maybe drop down kill assist points from 4 to 3 (still more than a regular kill assist) and get one point every 400 health healed or whatever.

To insomnia's wall of text, I get as many points as he does with defensive hiding, you just have to announce where you are and assist people when they are defensive. Not much skill involved, just use your mic. Seeing as he had a good team, this gave him an outstanding score.

As to good players averaging 300 points per hour, I did some math and found out that if I try I get about 600 points per hour and I suck shit.

Who are you ingame again? You can skyrocket in points if you're lower on the ranking scale at first but I swear only Boo, pink and a couple others get over 600 points per hour at a decent rank.
