Best Player in SourceOp Universe (Multiverse)

Tarquin Wrote:trover, why do you place H2O so high? I haven't seen anything from any of them to indicate that

have you ever seen them in comp play?

Aren't they playing damn well in the new CEVO season?

Edit: Yup, 3 - 1 and their 3 wins were all shutouts.

Record is one thing, but you have to actually see them in action to understand. Their communication/team movement is really tight. They definitely have a higher than average ability to read opponents' movements and adapt to them very quickly. Don't get me wrong, they are not perfect (as no team is), but they have a level of efficiency in the game that is respectable.

i rate them that way cause they are that way. There is nothing to argue if you haven't played competitively, if any of you took the time to play and practice and get better you would laugh at your former pub self.

Playing comp. is so much better and rewarding than playing pubs. Especailly payload and koth maps, yuck.

I've played a couple scrims against 'pro' teams and there's a large disparity in their skill levels.
The few times I have played, we were just a collection of good pubbies used as practice fodder for the pro teams and I've either been utterly decimated or actually decimated the other team.

Some really suck.

And it seemed to have almost everything to do with communication and predicting enemy movements when we won.

depends on the map. a/d are about skill almost as much as communication. cp is mostly about communication
