use paint. i doubt your spray is compelling enough to require heavy editing under photoshop.

the point isn't the quality of the image, but the features of the filetype.

photoshop can easily add transperancy, resize it so it is still usable, etc

vtf edit can resize... infact i dont think you need vtf edit for tf2(i use jpeg's alllll the time) making a spray is really simple. and i think using photoshop for it just complicates it. maybe im biased torwards MS paint.

Square sprays look like shit, though. and valve's image import converter doesn't do 90% of the stuff that VTFedit and photoshop can do together.

mine come out just fine you can easily read them.(its not hlss where the sound qaulity has to be GOD to even be presentable.) ill post a screenshot here soon.

The white box is part of it. it doesnt have to be fancy people read it the message gets across... i dont think adding transparency makes anyone more likely to read your spray.
