Long time player on Sourceop.... I got banned by a vote started by a person named "Meical EMC"
They said I was griefing. I never circumvented balance, or did any nonsense.
I don't even chat lol. After i left, the person said "good riddance to the "stacker" (conveyed from friend in chat log)
I am not good enough to be a stacker if you check my stats. I come to sourceop to get better and i LOVE this
community.
I was playing heavy.
Any help would be appreciated.

Votekick bans are only 5 mins long, what exactly did they say you were doing before they kicked you?

Hey butane.. thx for reading this thread. pretty sure you got better things to do.
They didnt say anything in chat log. I see a "vote" come up saying.. kick for griefing. people voted to kick me off (but no one asked questions pertaining to the kick)
I was heavy and killed that meical guy 3 times when he was a spy. then the next round starts and i choose a team opposite his
and another EMC guy, a heavy called enforce... after i killed that heavy, the vote comes up.
I know people have seniority at sourceop but i am being as truthful as possible and never want to get banned.
I would hate for it to happen again, so I didnt bother reconnecting (risking: to circumvent ban and such)
IMO, sourceop is the only community with pro players. TN, lotus, skial, etc cant compare.
the only reason I got decent at tf2 is only because of the competition here.
I never trash talk, fool around, etc. I try to get better each and every time at this craft.

Apparently they kicked you for switching to the winning team or "stacking" at the start of that round, I was not on, so cant say eitherway. The ban is long expired tho, if you have further issues with the particular user(s) or similar incident involving others feel free to bring it up again in this thread.

Will do butane! ill try to record demos from now on so my hands aren't tied (if it occurs again).
For what its worth... if it's at the start of a new map round, how can a team be winning? people barely had points.
Anyways, i understand your explanation and won't act like a prick and complain further.

I believe he is admin for a reason. He has to have integrity (esp to admin on SOP) and will overlook friendships for what is right.
That being said, Butane's response correlates to what actually happened, so i'm sure he asked.
If anything similar happens again, i'll update the thread.
And wombraider, I know you're looking out for my interest. I appreciate it VERY much. By your post count,
I see you are a very active member with reputation. I respect you both and don't want to get on anyone's bad side.
