Ban Appeal for <>< <--Minnow
#1

Action: Building multiple dispensers.
Admin response: Banning me for Game Exploiting.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ahoy-hoy! Three years ago, give or take two days, I was playing Fastlane as an Engineer. This was when you could build infinite buildings, and I was well aware of that fact. So I took the liberty of building a conga line of dispensers on this area, and one sentry on the far platform with the barrels, if I recall correctly.
So I got banned for Game Exploiting and moved on. Three years later, I realize how much I loved the SourceOP servers, and how I want to try out some of the other gamemodes, such as PH.

And as I reviewed the rules, I found this:
Quote:Exploiting map bugs/glitches
1. Warn
2. 30 minute ban
A warning was probably sent out, if not, my own lack of common sense should count, but I never got a thirty minute ban, it went straight to a perma-ban. I can't remember if that was the policy back then, but would that make it ex-post-facto or readjusted?

Anyways, I'd love to come back, and I'm sorry for exploiting the build command, I'll never violate the rules ever again. I feel like I've become a better person that can play the game normally, without relying on cheap exploits for amusement.

Thanks for reading!

no.

The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth becomes the greatest enemy of the State.

Hey, I know you guys are busy, but it's been about a month since I've heard anything on the matter. Whenever you can, I please get a verdict?
Thanks!
