upcoming ps3 game MAG is 256 players over an expansive map. Something Im looking into since the communication system seems to have been well thought out. (PS3 doesnt get many communicative players in their games so need a system besides mics. Leaves me worrying about communication in Fat Princess.)

better yet, just go download tribes or tribes 2, they are both free now and still have a solid following. Too bad Tribes:Vengeance never took off. That was my favorite.

Tribes and Tribes 2 were my favorite games. It's just not the same playing them so many years later. At least some people still play.

yeah, I tried playing both, but I think I've been spoiled on modern graphics and such. Everything just seems a little sluggish.

I miss the expansive maps and the need for teamwork along with the other unique features that Tribes had. I can't seem to find a game that gets anywhere close to it.

I really don't mind the graphics, but its just not the same playing it 8 years later. :\
