2 things.
#1

Hello,
I have 2 things i want to change.

1. Max Frag at once.
My server is a coop server where players can get alot of score for 1 big npc like an antlionguard.
The sourceop says they need to contact an admin to get credits.
So i hope someone can tell me the code for raising this limit sinse i couldnt find it myself.

2.Connecting to sourceop.com
The server always connects to this site before it loads the other things.
I didnt thought it whould be a problem but i just experianced my server couldnt start because this site was down.
So i whould like to know how to turn that check off.

I hope someone can help me with my questions,
Thanks in advance,
Henky!!

1. These are the "cheatprotect" CVARs from the CVAR list.
http://www.sourceop.com/wiki/Server_CVARs

You can type "find cheatprotect" in the server console to get more info about them. The maximum credits allowed per map is controlled by the "DF_credits_maxpermap" CVAR.

2. No, you can't. Sorry.

DF has better servers than blizzard. Discuss.

Nah, he's right. They went down twice this weekend for a few minutes. Both times because the datacenter loss power magically somehow.

Well the problem isnt that it checks for sourceop.com
But the fact that the server dont start when the website is down.
Maby a timeout in the next version?
Or that atleast the server itself starts without sourceop.

There is a timeout. The timeout is controlled by the OS and is typically a few minutes.

Well on my server it did timeout.
But when it timedout it imediantly tryed it again.
Making the server stop functionating.

There is a limit on the number of retries it will do.

I'm not disagreeing that there's a problem that needs fixing. My TF2 servers were also affected. I won't be removing it, but I'll be looking into making it asynchronous for future versions.
