Actually, I was right on the money. Because most of them DO try league play but then find out how terrible they are at it and thier pubstar "clans" collapse upon themselves.

im sorry i worded that a little strangely i didn't mean to say you were wrong in the first place but i know most of them never try league play or persue it to any extent. I hate to start an argument of any kind but they mostly try 1 or 2 formatted scrims (usually 6v6) not actually enter a league CEVO, STA, or CAL for instance.

Yeah, I'm not trying to hate on people that only pub (because I don't play TF2 leagues), but it's usually used by people that play in leagues as an insult to people that do pub, so I was trying to give that explination. It gets tossed around a lot more in CS:S imo. I have witnessed, and been a part of, pubstar clans, and they maybe play 3 matches in a league before they collapse and they don't practice because they think it's another day at the cs_office, when it's a whole different ball game.
