hey, just because I like NS doesn't mean that L4D isn't a boring grindfest.

If I wanted to fight the same 4 boring monsters over 9000 times then I would play Doom3.

No, you're right, there is a closet. Most of the time though, if one dies, the rest will die shortly after. Or at least, this is what I've seen.

Also, in the final stage, there is no closet.

I am still the same ID fan I was years ago, and the only thing that I did not like about Doom1+2 was the lack of interaction with npcs/survivors and the storyline itself.

Doom3 solved this, with a magnificent atmosphere, jaw dropping graphics and fearsome gameplay. Expansion included.

And now there's nothing like playing through it co-op with a long-time friend who also played the first games.
