    Mouse assistance?

This was from a different thread but I didn't want to carry on all off-topic and such

    your infrared mouse sucks.

try cleaning it or using a mouse pad.

I used to have that problem before my Logitech MX610
Mine started doing that, too and I hate using a mousepad while gaming because the mouse is slow. I have the sensitivity all the way up but it's still just too slow.

It started doing the annoying spinning deal to me the other night and I cleaned it but I know I'm long overdue a new one...

I have a Logitech LX6 or 7 (can't remember which) but I was looking at the MX620. Versed has the G7 I believe and I've used it some. It's faster than mine and I like the additional rechargeable batteries and such.

Anyway, any ideas/tips for this stupid mouse that might hold me over until I get a new one or am I pretty much just screwed?

Yeah, its a sign that your mouse is going to shit. Same thing started to happen with me, and I own a basic optical mouse by microsoft. I don't know of any fixes other than just getting a new one. But I know mice like the LX6 or 7 can be a little pricey...so you may want to see if you can fix it manually first.

I just bought a new one and it fixed it just fine....then again my mouse only cost about $12 after taxes...

I highly reccomend the 610 over the 620.

I have never used the 620, but it has the same scrolling scheme as the MX-Revolution, and the mouse wheel will generally wears out and breaks within the first year, whereas I have been using this 610 for about 5 years now.

Agreed, but with my big hands I prefer the Lachesis.

I hold my mouse at an odd angle though; somewhat sideways. The deathadders design just makes it a lot more comfortable for me to hold, also, little hands ~_~

I have used a couple Razer products and let me tell you, they were a shit fest.

Their headset HAD A RESPONSE TIME (FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUU)
Their keyboard wasn't durable and wasn't ergonomic
their mice were average at best
their mouse pad was okay, but I liked my 9$ flat one better

I have a HUGE problem with them selling me average to mediocre products at premium prices

I only use their mouseseses... I've never tried their headset or the keyboard.

Its getting harder to find a keyboard suitable (to me) for gaming. I use the arrow keys for movement and the insert-pagedown keys for weapon slots and voice menus etc. Nowadays though, most keyboard manufacturers are moving keys and making a big ass delete key for some reason... )0=
