i kinda agree with simo too, because its kinda lame to have a 24/7 goldrush server and then make it not be 24/7 goldrush, I will more agree with sups to have it be more rare than a plain rotation. and btw the payload version of dustbowl is fantastic (i mean cmon, its dustbowl and its payload), and hoodoo is the best payload map i have ever played. given ive only played hoodoo in highlander and 6v6 competition it was fantastic and it should be good in a 16v16. PL_dustbowl ive played in 12v12 nothing more as of yet, but there is no reason it wouldn't be great. But the reason i play on SourceOP servers is because its always full and i like playing with you guys and i like payloads. I don't think it should go rotation, but maybe just give us a chance to occasionally play a different map with all the people we like to play with would be pretty awesome.

leave 24/7 goldrush alone. Its one of the last good goldrush servers out there. Go play on a payload server if you want badwater so bad

Whatever you do, do not change it to payload. It was tried a while ago and it absolutely blew. I agree with Simo, if you want to play Payload, go to another server. Im not trying to be mean, but the people who play on Goldrush dont play there by accident, they play there because they love goldrush.

But then again... Sups does have a good point . If someone really wants it, then the vote should be whether or not to play it, not whether or not to NOT play it (as complicated as that sounds).

But before, a vote had to pass in order to skip it. We're asking if we can simply RTV for it every once in a while, and the vote would have to pass in order to play it. If everyone hates it so much, the vote should never pass, right?

or you could do the infamous vote initiation. So it plays on goldrush all of the time until someone initiates a vote on whether to play a different map. and not to have goldrush end unless most everyone else agrees. Cause my real big thing is when i play at like 3am (US TIME) when its just starting to dwindle down and its like 10v10. it would be cool just to zip over to another pl map. As far as i could tell that would be pretty easy and harmless. although these are drunkenf00ls servers so he does as he pleases with them.

That's exactly what I'm proposing...I don't think badwater would be played very much at all, but at least we could change things up every once in a while if everyone agreed to it.

Though I'm in favor of being able to initiate the vote for some badwater action every now and then, I fear the map vote may be used primarily to scramble teams.
