Your score's supposed to be way higher than that. My rig's less powerful than yours, and I get a 12854 score in 3DMark06. Try ending all the uneccessary processes, like steam, Firefox/ IE, etc. Oh, and you shoulda also gotten SLI, way more performance.

SLI is unecessary and a waist of money... Unless you just have the cash the throwaway.

You have a nice computer thar.

    My system raiting is 5.6.

and my benchmark was 11220. Hmm didn't think to turn off unccessary processes and programs. Maybe i can get a higher score.

No, that thing is a vista feature, which is quite useless. I have all 5.6/5.7, except for Windows aero, which is down at 4.3. Why in the fuck is my computer not powerful enough to run vista at 5.9 when I can get 50 fps on crysis at full res (medium settings)? Isn't that just advertising how shitty they optimize their OS?

Plus my ram took a shit and I had to replace it with shittier ram.

Plus, Larz doesn't know what he is talking about. SLI'ing is fine and "throwaway" is a noun or an adjective, it would be "throw" and "away" in that context. I know THE is wrong, but that is a common typo and everybody can see it's wrong, I just don't want "their" to be another "they're" that people will keep fucking up there.

Larz, you coulda gotten a higher score, considering your CPU's faster than mine, and we roughly have the same GPU, cept mine's faster because of SLI and from the OCing. Also, your FSBs are way higher like your 1066 mhz FSB RAM. Mine's only 667, considering it's a laptop.
    Specs: T9300 @ 2.5 800 mhz fsb GHZ Nvidia 8800m GTX OCd to 625/1500/950 4 GB RAM (2048 x 2 @ 667 mhz)

Scalable Link Interface (SLI) is a brand name for a multi-GPU solution developed by Nvidia for linking two or more video cards together to produce a single output.

the fact that you don't have two of the video cards makes whatever you were referring to as SLI irrelevant

Actually Alpha, I have dual 8800m GTX's. Dell required it when I got the 8800m gtx, making it instead of $500, I had to pay $1000 for the cards.

I had my old Dell running Vista for a week. It raped my game performance so i downgraded back to XP.

    Specs were

    P4 3.0 ghz
    2 GB DDR 400 mhz
Nvidia 6600 gt 128 mb AGP

I think my rating was like a 3.5 or something
