They're too many Dota type games around that a free so a no from me. I would rather save money and play LoL(Don't play but just hypothetical) then waste my money on something I can get similar to it.

Icefrog originally made HoN. There is a lot of drama between Icefrog and Riot and recently Mspudding and one other employee who's name escapes me have left S2 to "Work on another ARTS" AKA work for Icefrog.
Also I hate Riot and would not be sad if this threw their little chess game out the window.

Also I'm curious to see how dota 2 plans to differentiate itself from demigod in that 99.6% of the dota community are pirates.

Unless you count the HoN peopls, but then wow, 40000 sales and most of them were at greatly discounted prices.
