that maze thing sounds pretty cool, I might have to check it out.
I also solved a rubik's cube, although I'm not particularly good at it (takes me about 2 minutes usually)
another puzzle that I really like involves a metal shape with another shape somehow stuck in it, and you have to figure out how to remove the inner piece (and put it back in!) see this website: http://www.tavernpuzzle.com/
glouch, that tavern thingy looks quite easy
they come in all sorts of difficulty levels, and some of them look deceptively simple.Originally Posted by Noobowner
Back on topic after picking on noob, who I love even though I don't know him. I could never solve the rubik's cube, so I would just remove the stickers off the one I had and place them in the right order. It worked for a few days until the stickers started to peal off.
protip: you don't need to remove the stickers to cheat. Turn a layer about 45 degrees and wedge the middle cube out- it should come right off. Then proceed with the corners and you can take it apart pretty easily. Depending on the cube you'll get a bunch of black shit on your hand, which gets even worse if you've used any kind of lubricant to make it turn more easily. But in any event don't remove stickers.Originally Posted by KockEyedNerd
i used vaseline to make it easier to move. But yea, glouch's idea is much more effective.
What I did. When Rubic's Cube came out. In the 80s...Originally Posted by glouch
