    What's better? Recording Software


    ZD Soft or Fraps?

    Im interested in getting one and wanted a opinion.

    I'm pretty sure Fraps is the better option. ZD Soft looks and feels like a hypercam reskin. Also FRAPS has a better overall reputation, lots of people have better benchmark runs with FRAPS than with everything else.

    Probably, also, I've heard XFIRE is really good with recording. I'll have to research more

    For the love of god do not use xfire.
    Fraps or xsplit either of those work well.(Though secretly i fucking hate fraps because the render software on it is outdated as all hell and nobody seems to care that it has no video options and will split videos every 5 fucking minutes making a huge mess out of my folders and making editing a bitch.

    Yeah, all software image recording is pretty shit, but anybody who actually NEEDS screen recording has hardware for it so what are you gonna do?
