Hate to see how much it would cost to get a small tear in that fabric replaced.
Course, if you can afford it in the first place, you probably wouldn't care about such minor costs.

They have stretchable materials that don't tear like cloth though

its probably just a high elasticity fabric, instead of puncturing, it stretches, that way even if you in a head on collision, almost all the damage is absorbed by the frame, plus cloth has got to be cheaper then fiberglass to repair, and faster, just remove the damaged cloth and tack new cloth on
