It's not even about Origin in particular, if it's good or bad or anything. I just do not want that companies think they can force us to use a product we did not want to use in the first place by baiting us with a good one. It is sad people let EA get away with this greedy manipulation.

It's funny, because the only reason most people used Steam was to play HL2 and Counter Strike 1.6/Source.

This was also back when steam didn't provide anything but a game launcher and a chat service, so it was basically a glorified DRM system.
