    Default Map


    im running sourcemod on my server, i know the default map that valve has set to 2fort can be changed, but i cant find any answer on google, maybe someone here knows, i want to be able to change the default map of 2fort to whatever i want, either thru sourcemod or thru tf2 itself, i know it can be done, the place hosting my server has done it for me 3 times now but they wont tell me how there doing it.

    anyone got any clue, valve sets the default map to 2fort but i know it can be changed....

    -map <name> in the start upline of the server.

    its not in a file... who is your hosting company?

    most have a web interface that you can control the server from, somewhere in that interface should be th eoption to edit the command line. That is where the -map <your_default_map> should be changed. Although... some companies restrict editting that so you may just have to keep asking.

    Also, it's "+map" not "-map." The + means that it is a console command to be executed as soon as the server comes up.

    But yes, they are correct. You have to get your server host to change the command line parameters used to start your server.
