I can understand getting a bargain that ensures you get a profit, with the risk of not being able to sell, etc. But it's certainly not honesty to hide the real value entirely and not even give them a "quicksale" value.

Is a couple hundred dollars worth getting people thinking you'll cut them off at any opportunity to make a dime? That doesn't sound like professional behavior to me. Is that really common in this community?
hmm, maybe a 100 dollar for it :3

And this sis why reaper rocks.

I personally do the same thing, and in the end it pays off because you gain friends and trading buddies. Most of my trading is done privately to friends because we can trust each other enough to offer fair deals.

1000x this. I've given a lot of free hats and such to my regular community, which has turned out to be much more profitable than hoarding. Gaining friends, contacts and general good standing works wonders.
