every time someone in comp CS:S starts to feel guilty or get mad at someone else they send their private cheats to the various leagues and about a week later about 100 people get banned for cheating.

do not delude yourself: in a game where everything except grenades is hitscan, probably close to 20% of the people that play it don't play fairly.

This is why a lot of game devs have moved away from modding as it provides a very easy to use access window for hackers.
You cannot stop people from texture hacking(Which is pretty much undetectable) without using a white/blacklist and then you are essentially banning legit mods too. And while punkbuster is infamous for it they actually are fairly good with their definition updates which is more than I can say for VAC.

oh shut the fuck up glouch tf2 is still the same game it was 3 years ago. sure, everyone wears silly hats now and the majority of spies are unkillable annoyances but the core gameplay of every class is exactly the same: scouts go fast, soldiers spam rockets, pyros set shit on fire, demos are OP, heavy is easy to play, engineer camps with a sentry, medic heals, sniper snipes, and spies harass.

CS:S is riddled with so many cheaters that the game is unplayable. Server admins go batshit unless you set specific rates, after the first shot the rest is all luck and/or completely reliant on your ping or net settings, one person can camp a hallway with an AWP and put the team on his back, you play dust2 all the fucking time, and most servers run that retarded gungame mod.

Do you want a realistic shooter that's so old it's no longer realistic or a class based shooter where there are so many items that they can no longer balance the game?

Either way go play ARMA if you want a perfected CSS experience and Gaia Online if you want the modern TF2 experience. (because I hear TF2 still has gameplay, but I haven't been able to find it.)
