Do you still have the box and manual for your psu? I would find that and read to see if it would support SLI just to be sure. I know of for a fact mine will support SLI and mine is 50 watts lower than yours.

i know it supporst sli, but will it support this sli, the 8800 gts only requires 1 6-pin hook up per card, but the 8800gtx requires 2 6-pin hookups per card, and i'm just gona wait, i can't get 91 fps on cod with maxed graphics, i don't really need to upgrade, just wanted to, and the only that realy puts me off is i keep maxing out my prosessor on need for speed carbon/ prostreet, thinking maybe i shoulda went for a quad core

i have yet to max out my cpu, even while playing Crysis . Naq had me worried about the quad core's for a bit, but im really happy with it right now. After running crysis for an hour, my cpu still stays at 20 degrees celcius !!

What sucks is the reset button on my case broke, so i need a new case now =/. So now im back to using old reliable for a day or two.

If your mobo is socket LGA 775, you should be able to upgrade your CPU ret. But check your mobo manual to be sure

PLUS, mobos rule. I really didn't notice this until I bought a high quality one, but they really do.

I used to buy cheapo motherboards like everybody else and all it does is connect the parts together. This time I got a high-range motherboard and it shreds.

It knows when the case is open, it knows when I plug in audio ports, IT KNOWS DAMNIT!
    /sarcasm

My comp IS A HELLA buggy now. I just installed all the parts in the new case. My cpu meter randomly jolts to 45% usage which is bullshit becuase i have a fucking quad core. Crysis runs ok though(crashed 1st 3 times i attempted to run it)Portal runs good. My comp is alot slower than it was....

And the weirdest of all, is how it fucking randomly goes into sleep mode every 5 minutes while the windows sleep setting is on "never"

Im gonna play through crysis, and perseus mandate, then ill work on fixing it, its atleast functional for now
