I wanted so much to like final fantasy 13. I kept plodding along because I actually enjoyed the battle system. Then, I got to the chapter 11 boss. Twenty Goddamn minutes of fighting, and what happens? Fucking. Doom. I was making it through the battle; you're going to have me go back and grind just so I can finish it faster? Fuck's sake.

Quit then and there.

edit: in fact, I think I've complained about this before. I'm still that pissed about it.

I'm still pissed that the easiest way to beat the final boss is to spam poison and wait for him to die. And that the game is really linear, and that the characters all blew especially fucking lightning. They just wanted a character with absolutely no weaknesses. It's more like a giant fan fic than a final fantasy game.

FF13 was shit all the way through, none of the characters were good, the story was ass..like the only thing square can do nowadays is port chrono trigger onto my ds, so I don't have to play the shit psx version with 10 minute load times.
