It's as accurate as can be I guess. It just takes an average of your points on all servers that you play on that run hlstatsx.

Well, either way, it doesn't really line up with what I know to be the case of our players skill-wise. It's fine simple system, I just think trying to compare ratings globally is stretching it a bit past its means.
