Of course not, I was questioning the 570s ability to max out bf3 at 1920x1080, not the game engine itself.Originally Posted by Snarf

I think it would. I can MAX Bfbc2 on a 1920 x 1200 with a GTX 460 and i3 core. Bf3 is going to have a very similar engine to Bfbc2 execpt in bf3 its going to use dx10 or 11 at its full potential. Bfbc2 usues dx 9.
I read this on enterbf3.com (AMAZING website for bf3 updates) they posted on a quote from one of the developers of bf3. He said basically if you can run bfbc2 you can run bf3.
What FPS do you get at those settings and at that resolution?Originally Posted by mrmason
True, the battlefield 3 engine (Frostbite 2) will be quite similar to the BC2 engine but like you said, DX10 and DX11 will be used to their full potential and will no doubt push systems that bit harder than BC2. Also, BF3 will have no support for DX9 at all and BC2 has support for Direct X 9-11.
As for the last paragraph, thats very comforting for many people
I get playable FPS like, 50 - 60
I get far more fps than that with a 465.
I was a commando you know.
