I don't understand. One side of your Vs. is a motherboard, the other is a CPU. If you mean would that mobo work well with that processor, yes I think it would.

That should work fine, an ATI board would work better, though, as they are made to associate with AMD.

and Nvidia cards are known to explode for no reason, and fail spontaneously.

Someone told me, that if your mobo isn't the same speed as your cpu, then it would slow things down.

Oh well, i guess they were full of shit

they were talking about the Front side bus?

The thing with that is that if your mobo has a lower FSB than it would slow down your ram (providing that your ram is as fast as your processor).

Luckily, your ram is slow as shit, so it wouldn't matter either way...

its AVERAGE, which is nowhere near your processor's speed...

the fastest ram ive seen is only 1024 mhz. theirs faster????

OK here's another compatibility issue for you.

Would an old AGP NVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT work with a brand new Asus M2N-E nVidia nForce 570 Ultra w/2000mhz FSB mobo?

edited: changed my mind on the new mobo i want. getting this MSI K9NU Neo-nVidia M1697 w/2000MHz FSB

It shouldn't, as long as the FSB used by the Video Card and One stick of your ram is not higher than the FSB of your Processor/mobo. (correct me if I am wrong)

This could be wrong if you have HyperTransport, but my knowledge is a little bit old to know for sure (every time I stop building new computers for a few years all of my knowledge becomes useless)
