Yeh I tried that... It didn't work
on the sop DM server, hook is only for admins, sorry
go ask your queerbate leader to temporarily bring back the old eX clan servers with the hook mod, so that king can check it out
I'm not sure if any of you remember the nao maps for TFC. They only (were supposed to) work on certain servers with a certain mod. Basically, the map set everyones visibility to nothing, but, when the mod was present, it would remove that restriction. I guess we can't use that now that the secret is out though.
especialy not because you could just edit that out of a map, ok add the excetion to a cfg file, plus sop isn't like other mods in how its a complete server side plugin
Another option would be to remove all ents from the map file. Then when it is loaded on the server, insert them in. This way, if somebody uses it somewhere else, the map will load and it will be ok, but nothing will be there.
If I remember correctly, we had a similar system in place with ADMINOP, albeit the maps weren't empty, but it was a good way to customize a server.
For those of you who are new to this plugin system, the feature I am referring to let you save a collection of ents in place so it would be loaded each time with the map. (i.e. on Dark Fox's server, he placed a colorful bridge over the existing bridge on 2fort, making it more or less resemble the TF2 version). These could also be executed manually for saving things that didn't HAVE to be there.
