Spokane Virtual Learning...
I thought it might be a good idea to get caught up on all of my credits by taking advantage of some of the Spokane Virtual Learning courses offered by the Spokane board of education.... HOLY FUCK, NO.
Last time I took these classes I failed because I didn't try. This time I am failing because the process is COMPLETELY broken, making progress impossible.
First class: Health and Fitness.
This class has no apperant flaws, but once you get into it, it becomes a big horrific pain in the ass. It is mostly bookwork, which would be a plus if the book actually existed. Instead they send you through a loop of exactly 28 links, which at one end is a broken link to a PDF of the book, and the other is a link to the beggining of the loop. not much help here.
Second class: Lifetime Fitness.
This has the blaring impossibility of being an ONLINE P.E. CLASS. It ALMOST worked... It requires you to sign a contract (that is cleverly hidden at a completely unrelated website) that is locked behind a password. The password is a basic USERNAME/PASSWORD setup, which requires you to put in your student ID as a username and your last name as a password, and then inserting the name of god into a scanner, unfortunately for me, I (and every other human) am incapable of knowing the true name of god and therefore cannot login... I had a guy hack in to the site to get me the contract, and he couldn't find it... Which is great that an expert hacker can't navigate your website... I called the help line and they insisted that I should BUY the heart rate monitor... I told them that if I had 400$ laying around for a USB compliant heart-rate-monitor with tamper protection and 8-week memory, than I would kill them and go to private school.
SO I GET NO HEALTH CREDITS BECAUSE SPOKANE FAILS AT THE INTERNET. Thanks a ton, Spokane Schools, you ruined my education for everyone. Now only I will know how great I am...
