how to open ports? (killing floor)

Hi all
I know this is a site mainly used for tf2 but I need some help in killing floor. I want to be able to setup my own server but I have absolutely no idea on how to open a port, and unless I do no one can join my game. Ive tried googlein it but I still don't get it. the OS i use is windows 7 home prem 32 bit. If posible please could you use the most basic language posible as I have absolutely no idea of what to do.

Apparantly i need to open theses ports.

7707 UDP/IP (Game Port)
7708 UDP/IP (Query Port)
7717 UDP/IP (GameSpy Query Port)
28852 TCP/IP and UDP (Allows your Server to Connect to the Master Server Browser)
8075 TCP/IP (Port set via ListenPort that your WebAdmin will run on)
20560 UDP/IP (Steam Port)

If anyone can help me it would be much appricated.

edit: I'm not sure if you mean setting up a local connection to host stuff or a dedicated server. If it's the former, this should work, but I'm not very familiar with dedicated servers so someone else will have to help you.

figure out what kind of router you have and select it from the list on the website, skip the ad that pops up, click on killing floor and follow the instructions on the page.

Basically what you're doing is setting up a static IP address for your computer, fiddling around with your router settings and opening some ports, and theoretically everything should work.

Thank you for your reply. I am working on it now. I believe it is the later, a dedicated sever I require, but im trying the stuff on the site anyway. wat harm can it do to try. will post my results.

EDIT: I took a slightly educated guess at wat i should put in each box (using the site above) and the message "End port must greater than Start port." kept on poping up even the to my understanding it was. The start port I used was 7707 and end 20560. these are the highest & lowest nums on the list above.

I used this site as ( http://forums.tripwireinteractive.co...ad.php?t=30579 )a reference but as have previously stated I can't get past step 1, ports.

I still need some help and even the simpleist knowledge would be appriciated.
