One word : Epic
One word : Epic
That word does not mean a lot these days.
I don't know if i could see an iron maiden concert, just to heavy for me. I might see a dinosaur jr. concert in July though. 80s music in general never appealed to me, but there is some good stuff in that decade. Sonic youth, pixies, metallica, slayer is not to bad. I can't stand hair metal though, oh and screamo music. Emo music is not bad, it used to be good until the whole makeup-clothing style came into play around 2004ish. Sunny day real estate is a classic example of early emo.

The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth becomes the greatest enemy of the State.
i can't listen to metal all the time, where as sonic youth or nirvana i can. And yeah looking back that doesn't make a lot of sense, but i do like iron maiden. Just not something i would listen to daily.
NIN, Tool and Korn for me...yes, i am stuck in the early to mid 90s...
Please don't put Tool and Korn in the same sentence ever again or I will be forced to find you hyden...

nothing wrong with any of these bands. The downward spiral is a great album, along with pretty hate machine and with teeth, but downward spiral really stands out to me. Korn is alright, i only really like issues. Tool is amazing, any of their albums are good.Originally Posted by hyden
